Aoki Ume Exhibition Haul

Hello everyone and welcome back to Tiro Finale for another haul post. Our recent trip to the Aoki Ume Exhibition in Aomori would not have been complete without a haul of merchandise exclusive to the event. So today, we are going to bring you our small takeaway from this large art exhibition.

Surprisingly, one of the more collectible merchandise, the event brochure, is something you can get from the event is actually free. The brochures for the event exhibition itself can be found all around Aomori and, here, in the hotel that we lodged in for the duration of our stay. The brochure itself is a full color print and contains vital information about the event.

The other neat collectible on the list are the tickets themselves. Only the advance tickets are printed in color with the special ticket having a different illustration. Tickets from the Art Museum on the day itself are just simple white tickets with the event name written on it. Aside from having a printed ticket, the special advanced ticket also comes with a can badge commemorating the event!

Ono the event itself, sadly there was no special paper/plastic bag and only a simple brown bag is given to hold your purchases. Judging from the amount of effort put into the brochures and advanced tickets, it would have been fair to hope for a special bag too. But, that was not be the case this time.

And finally, we have the merchandise itself. Everything excluding the plush Hanekawa came from the exhibition and while it may not look like much, it certainly cost a pretty penny. From left to right, we start with the a post-Rebellion Madoka Magica poster featuring an original illustration by Ume-sensei. Next to it is the exhibition's official guide book which contains all of the exhibits artwork and explanation. Below it are two rubber straps, Mami and Nagisa, which were limited to Aoki Ume Exhibitions. Of course, there were other characters too but, I settled for these two.

Then, there is the event tee which was a simple and cheap way of remembering the event. Below it, a pin badge set for Madoka Magica. There is one too for Hidamari Sketch. Right next to the pin badge set is a commemorative medal for the Aomori Exhibition. Unlike the other merchandise, this was one of the few pieces exclusive to the exhibition in Aomori with the other venues having a different medal. Lastly, on the far right, we have a clear file of the exhibition's official illustration.

I would have loved to continue shopping if it were not for the fact that I had already exceeded 10,000 Yen before I knew it. Not wanting to dig a deeper hole into my expenses, I decided to stop at the things that I wanted the most. With these new haul, you can be certain that we will be taking an in-depth look at them sometime in the future. Hope you look forward to that. Until the next time, thank you so much and have yourself a great day ahead!
