Mami in Action #03

Mami in Action #03 - Akimbo

Hello, everyone! Today, I would like to reintroduce you to a photo-series I call, Mami in Action! This was a series I started back in February through April this year (2016) but, have been unable to update due to my time overseas. Now that I am back and settled, I would like to once again get the series started again with this latest chapter to the series, Akimbo.

For those who are new to the series, this is where I pair Max Factory's Figma Tomoe Mami (School Uniform Version) with various of Tomytec's awesome 1/12 scale Little Armory firearms. The combination is often explosively good especially with Mami's history with firearms albeit not of this sort of modernity.

As the name of this entry suggests, we will be featuring not one but, two H&K MP7A1s! For this, you will need Tomytec MP7A1 which have 2 included per pack and a set of tactical hands also by Tomytec.

Magically aided recoil dampeners, activate!

Despite having significantly differing lengths, both the deployed and collapsed MP7s pair well together.

Mami, maintaining good trigger discipline at all times.

A defeated Mami?

Never! Mami never gives up.

As she courageously steps back into the field of battle ready to face the unknown.

This pose makes absolutely no sense in terms of aiming down the iron sights but, it sure looks good.

Oh, and look at the detailing on the MP7!

A stern expression, always prepared and ready.

Mami checking out her new gear, she has two now.

Just do it!

Hmm... Mami seems cross.

What are you hiding behind your back, Mami?

Nothing, nothing at all.

Really?

Looks like the cat is out of the bag.

With the wide range of articulation possible on Figma(s), all sorts of poses are possible.

The biggest trouble would be securing the weapons in place.

Previously, I tried Blu-Tack. But, that showed too easily. Even now, you can spot some of its remnants despite most of it having been wiped off.

Now, I have a new solution which seems to do the job rather well for the time being.

For someone used to dual-wielding, Mami looks very natural armed with two MP7s.

The stern expression face-plate which comes included also really helps set the mood.

Mami signing off.
Having Mami dual-wield turned out to be a pretty good idea after all! Next time, we will be taking a look at something new as we say goodbye to the MP7s for something of a higher caliber. What is it? Stay tuned to Tiro Finale to find out together with our daily updates. Until then, thank you so much for reading and have yourself a great day ahead!

P.S. It feels good to be back to doing Mami content once again.
