SIF Coverage: Score Match Round 16

Score Match Round 16 is here! That's right, it's time for a new Nozomi event in School Idol Festival, the last one took place 3 months ago and it's finally rotated around back to her. This time, it's a Score Match as you go toe-to-toe with 3 other SIF players to see who can get that S Score, Full Combo and, ultimately, the highest score. Multipliers are awarded for playing well and scoring high making it a really rewarding event experience.

Personally, I've always had a love-hat relationship with Score Match events. I love it for the whole PvP (Player vs. Player) aspect of it as you vie to come out top and make the most of your LP. The added competitive aspect acts as an incentive for you to play the best you can to outdo the others.

Meanwhile on the hate side of things, the waiting times (in the lobby) is the most frustrating aspect of it all especially when you have to play many songs in succession. Rest assured, that's something you have to do a lot of if you're planning to tier for the event as the cutoff points are often very high for events like these.

Anyway, enough of my little rant and onto the star of this event. Accumulate 25,000 event points and you will be awarded with the event's SR Snow Bunny Nozomi. This time, it's a Pure Attribute card with a Score Up Skill and Pure Heart Center Skill. Stats are 4470 Pure at Level 60 and 4750 Pure at Level 80 which does make it a fairly potent member in terms of stats. It really only shines at Level 80 though;

And that's where you would ideally like to be. Then, you will be rewarded with the idolized Snow Bunny Nozomi. Instead of holding the snow bunnies in her palm, she now becomes one instead. I'm sure Eli-chi will be most pleased.

While I am definitely aiming to tier for this event, competition looks to be stiff. Even within the first day, the scores have been rising at a pretty quick rate. Thank goodness I've saved enough Love Gems for this event.
On a side note, KLab did something pretty funny with this event by messing up the event banner at the scoring screen. As you can see, it's the Banner for Umi's Score Match Round 17 instead of the supposed Round 16. They'll need to either patch it or carry it server maintenance to fix that but, no word about it so far. I find it pretty comical.

Anyway, that's all for today. I'll make sure to continue the coverage at the end of the event and even showcase how I did. What about you? If you're playing this event right now, I wish you all the best. Most importantly, make sure to have fun! Until the next time, have a great weekend ahead.
